Thermoelectric properties of Sr_(0.9)La_(0.1)TiO_3 and Sr_(2.7)La_(0.3)Ti_2O_7 with 15% Ag addition

15% Ag-added cubic perovskites Sr0.9La0.1TiO3 and Ruddlesden-Popper(RP) phases Sr2.7La0.3Ti2O7 were fabricated via hydrothermal synthesis,cold pressing and high-temperature sintering.The structure and thermoelectric properties were also investigated for all samples.The results indicated that Ag precipitated as a second phase.Ag addition made electrical conductivity and absolute Seebeck coefficient enhanced,as a result,the ZT values were enhanced both for two series.Compared with cubic perovskite,RP phase was subjected to smaller impact by Ag addition.The reasons for enhancing ZT value and the different impact for two series by Ag addition were also discussed.

Magnetic/Magnetostrictive Properties Together with Resistivity and Corrosion Behaviors of CoFe_2 and Its Composite with CoFe_2N被引量:1

The CoFe_2alloy(CF) was prepared by reducing CoFe_2O_4 in the H_2 ambient. Subsequently the CF sample was nitrided in the NH_3 atmosphere to produce the composite of CoFe_2N and CoFe_2. The magnetostriction, thermal expansion, resistivity and corrosion resistance of CF sample and the nitrided sample(CFN)at 1000?C were investigated. The saturation magnetostriction coefficiency λ_s and thermal expansion coefficient ? at 300 K for the nitrided CFN were 50 ppm and 10 ppm/K, respectively, approximately equal to those for the CF sample. However, compared with CF, CFN presents a decrease in temperature coefficient R_λ(300 K) of magnetostriction by 11%. The smaller resistivity and improved corrosion resistance in the H_2SO_4 solution may expand the applications of the CoFe_2 in the fields needing lower resistivity or in the acidic environment.

采用固相法制备Sr1.8Eu0.8-xBixV1.2P0.8O8(0≤x≤0.7)系列粉末样品.研究样品中的Bi和Eu的相互作用,并讨论相关机理.用X射线衍射和荧光分光光度计对样品的结构和光学性质进行研究,结果表明:x=0.30时,样品的发光强度最强.

吩嗪-铝复合物体系输运性质的第一性原理研究(英文)

采用密度泛函理论与非平衡格林函数相结合的第一性原理,对由吩嗪分子和单个铝原子构成的复合体系的电荷输运性质进行研究.计算模型是由吩嗪-铝复合物与两个无穷长的Al(100)纳米线电极构成.研究结果表明:在没有施加偏压的平衡状态下该体系在费米能级附近具有良好的电荷透射性能,而在施加偏压的非平衡状态下该体系有负微分电阻效应.结合透射谱及投影态密度,对其输运性质进行了理论解释.从该研究结果可知这类吩嗪-铝复合物在将来的分子尺度器件中具有潜在的应用价值.

多壁碳纳米管和pH值对YBO_3:Eu(5%)的形貌和发光的协同效应(英文)被引量:1

用添加有多壁碳纳米管(MWCNT)的前驱体溶液,通过水热合成法,在260℃条件下制备了一系列YBO3:Eu3+样品.当前驱体溶液的pH值从5到10的范围变化时,所制备的样品表现出丰富的形貌,包括鼓状、片状、六面体状、六角状和花状颗粒,这是由碳纳米管表面接枝官能团与前驱体溶液中不同形式HBO3的协同效应所致.发光测量结果表明pH=9和10的样品的红/橙(R/O)比提高了,表现出更好的色纯度,这归因于晶界或颗粒表面的Eu3+具有较低的局部对称性.

Ba掺杂和烧结温度对Sr_4V_2O_9:Eu^(3+)(5%),Ba^(2+)(x%)光学性质的影响(英文)

采用水热和烧结的方法制备系列Sr4V2O9:Eu3+(5%),Ba2+(x%)(x=0,5)粉末样品.用X射线衍射和荧光分光光度计对样品的结构和光学性质进行了研究.研究结果表明Ba掺杂能提高样品的发光强度,而烧结却降低发光强度.随着烧结温度的增加,Eu离子周围的晶格畸变,导致Eu离子的磁偶极跳跃减弱并消失.

Photoluminescence properties and effect of Bi^(3+) dopant of Eu^(3+) and Dy^(3+) co-doped Sr_3V_2O_8

Photoluminescence properties of Sr 2.5 Dy 1/3-x Eu x V 2 O 8(x=0,0.06,0.12,0.18,0.24,0.33) were investigated.The excitation spectra included a broad band in the short wavelength region and several sharp lines in the longer wavelength region,and the spectral origin were discussed.The emission spectra were measured in two different exciting ways,i.e.,exciting the VO 4 group at 270 nm and the Eu 3+ ion at 398 nm,respectively,and the energy transferring process was reasonably suggested.Furthermore,multi-color emission could be achieved in Sr 2.5 Dy 1/3-x Eu x V 2 O 8,indicating that the studied samples had potential applications in the white light emitting diodes.Further investigation showed that reducing the concentration of Eu 3+ and Dy 3+ and introducing Bi 3+ as a sensitizer ion greatly enhanced the emission intensity.

First-principles calculations on spin-polarized transport properties of Mn_4O_4 cluster

Taking the Mn4O4 cluster as a model system,the spin-polarized transport properties of the small cluster system were systematically probed. The theoretical investigations are based on density-functional theory and nonequilibrium Green's functional method. The equilibrium transport mechanism is illustrated by the band structure of the electrode, the electronic structure of the Mn4O4 cluster and the coupling between the cluster and the electrodes. To well understand the non-equilibrium mechanisms, one straightforward and simple band-matching model was proposed. Moreover, such a band-matching model can be extended to well illustrate the transport properties of other nano-scale systems.
