Objective The Bayingou ophiolitic melange is located in Northern Tianshan Mountains of the southern Central Asian Orogenic Belt which is the largest accretionary orogen among the European,Siberian,Tarim and North China cratons. The Bayingou ophiolitic melange provide a critical geological record for unraveling regional tectonic

Nb-enriched arc basalts,an extremely special rock type, were formed in a specific tectonic setting, which have attracted much attention in recent years.Although Nbenriched basalts in the Yining Block were interpreted as arc-affinity basalts, some geologists suggested that they should be Nb-enriched continental basalts and not arcrelated.Recently, the Nb-enriched arc basalts have been first identified from the Dahalajunshan Formation in southern Wusunshan,Yining.

Objective West Junggar, which is located in the southwestern segment of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB),is an important tectonic unit in the evaluation and examination of the largest continental accretion on Earth, playing a significant role in understanding the tectonic evolution and crustal growth within the orogenic belt(Xiao and Santosh,2014).However,no precise record of ancient continental blocks is found in West Junggar, owing to the extensive coverage and later structural reconstructions.
