Preparation,Structure and Dielectric Properties of Tungsten Bronze Ferroelectrics in SrO-Eu_2O_3-TiO_2-Nb_2O_5 System

Compounds Sr4Eu2Ti4Nb6O30 and Sr5EuTi3Nb7O30 with filled tetragonal tungsten bronze structure were prepared,and the dielectric characteristics and ferroelectric transition were investigated.Both ceramics displayed weak frequency dependence in room temperature dielectric constant,which decreased from 125 to 118 for Sr4Eu2Ti4Nb6O30,from 206 to 195 for Sr5EuTi3Nb7O30 in the frequency range of 10 kHz to 1 MHz.The present ceramics showed a diffuse ferroelectric phase transition.The frequency independent transition temperature (Tm) indicated the above compounds had no relaxor property.The diffuseness (γ) was 1.45 and 1.64 for Sr4Eu2Ti4Nb6O30 and Sr5EuTi3Nb7O30 respectively.The weak ferroelectric of the present materials are indicated from the P-E hysteresis loops,and a small 2Pr of 0.596 μC/cm2 and 0.068 μC/cm2 were observed for Sr4Eu2Ti4Nb6O30 and Sr5EuTi3Nb7O30 respectively.

A4B3O12型B位缺位六方钙钛矿陶瓷是一类新型性能可调的中等介电常数微波介电陶瓷,有望在现代移动通讯系统基站中得到应用。在介绍A4B3O12型钙钛矿陶瓷的结构特征和系列端元化合物微波介电性能研究的基础上,总结了不同离子占位对陶瓷性能的影响,并在最后对该类陶瓷将来的研究方向进行了展望。

INFLUENCE OF n ON STRUCTURE AND MICROWAVE DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF SOME A_(n)B_(n-1)O_(3n)PEROVSKITES

Two series of B-site deficient perovskites Ba_(5+m)Ti_(m)Nb_(4)O_(15+3m)(m=1,2,3)and Sr_(3+m)LaTi_(m)Nb_(3)O_(12+3m)(m=0,1,2)with the general formula A_(n)B_(n-1)O_(3n)(n=4-8;A=Ba,Sr,La;B=Nb,Ti)have been synthesized,and their structure and microwave dielectric properties have been investigated.The effects of n(number of octahedra layers within a perovskite blocks)on structure and properties are investigated.The values of dielectric constantε_(r)and temperature coe±cient of resonant frequencyτ_(f)gradually increase,but quality factors Q×f values significantly decreases as the values of n increase.

Influence of interface point defect on the dielectric properties of Y doped CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12) ceramics

CaCu_(3)Ti_(4-x)Y_(x)O_(12)(0≤x≤0.12)ceramics were fabricated with conventional solid-state reaction method.Phase structure and microstructure of prepared ceramics were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),respectively.The impedance and modulus tests both suggested the existence of two different relaxation behavior,which were attributed to bulk and grain boundary response.In addition,the conductivity and dielectric permittivity showed a step-like behavior under 405 K.Meanwhile,frequency independence of dc conduction became dominant when above 405 K.In CCTO ceramic,rare earth element Y^(3+)ions as an acceptor were used to substitute Ti sites,decreasing the concentration of oxygen vacancy around grainelectrode and grain boundary.The reason to the reduction of dielectric behavior in low frequencies range was associated with the Y doping in CCTO ceramic.

A8B7O24型B位缺位六方钙钛矿陶瓷是一类性能可调的中等介电常数微波介质陶瓷新体系,近来越来越受到广大科研工作者的青睐。介绍了A8B7O24型六方钙钛矿陶瓷的结构特征,综述了该体系陶瓷的交替型以及孪晶型的结构及其微波介电性能。基于目前研究中存在的问题,对该类陶瓷将来的研究方向进行了展望。
