Preparation of Benzene Adsorption Materials Using Waste Activated Alumina被引量:1

A new type of benzene adsorption material was prepared by using the airtight heat treatment method.This method can directly transform the organic impurities of the activated alumina waste into carbon with adsorption capability.The microstructure and carbon content of materials were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),BET(Brunauer Emmett Teller) surface area analysis and elemental analysis.The influences of heat treatment temperature on the properties of the composite materials were discussed.The benzene adsorption capability of the material was investigated.The experimental results show that the optimal heat treatment process condition is airtight heating at 400 ℃ for 2 h.The resulting sample has carbon mass fraction of 3.57%,specific surface area of 234.70 m 2 /g,pore volume of 0.41 m 3 /g,and average pore size of 6.59 nm.The samples show excellent benzene adsorption capability with an adsorption rate of 21.80%.

Study on the Adsorption Characteristics of Inorganic Activated Charcoal Gel on Formaldehyde被引量:2

In this paper, the powdered activated carbon is taken as the main raw material to develop a new material of inorganic activated charcoal gel by using silicate cement as the gelling agent. The micro-structure of this material is characterized by XRD, BET, SEM, EDS and so on; and the adsorption and cyclic regeneration characteristics of formaldehyde on the material are primarily studied. The experimental results show that this material is an adsorbent on the basis of micropores distributed between 0.60-1.12 nm, with specific surface area of 452.86 m2/g, average pore size of 2.62 nm and total pore space of 0.30 m3/g. The samples have excellent formaldehyde adsorption ability with saturation adsorption of 268.00 mg/g; after 20 times of cyclic adsorption and desorption, the formaldehyde adsorption rate of the samples can remain 49% of the original value, showing good cyclic regeneration of the samples.

无机胶凝成型活性炭的制备及性能研究被引量:5

用水泥熟料作胶凝剂,探讨粉末活性炭的成型及性能。通过引入硅微粉与采取蒸压养护措施提高材料强度、缩短制备周期;用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察微观形貌,用抗压强度、碘吸附值、气孔率、吸水率、含炭量等指标评价试样的综合性能。研究结果表明,将70%(质量分数)活性炭粉末、25%(质量分数)水泥熟料粉末与5%(质量分数)硅微粉充分混合均匀后,造粒、成型,在195℃蒸压釜中养护6h,可制得性能良好的无机胶凝成型活性炭材料;试样的物理性能:碘吸附值为551.72mg/g,抗压强度为7.25MPa,炭含量为58.48%,气孔率为57.34%,吸水率为69.42%。

Structural Characterization and Property Study on the Activated Alumina-activated Carbon Composite Material被引量:6

AlCl3,NH3·H2O,HNO3 and activated carbon were used as raw materials to prepare one new type of activated alumina-activated carbon composite material.The influence of heat treatment conditions on the structure and property of this material was discussed;The microstructures of the composite material were characterized by XRD,SEM,BET techniques;and its formaldehyde adsorption characteristic was also tested.The results showed that the optimal heat treatment temperature of the activated alumina-activated carbon composite material was 450 ℃,iodine adsorption value was 441.40 mg/g,compressive strength was 44 N,specific surface area was 360.07 m2/g,average pore size was 2.91 nm,and pore volume was 0.26 m3/g.According to the BET pore size distribution diagram,the composite material has dual-pore size distribution structure,the micro-pore distributes in the range of 0.6-1.7 nm,and the meso-pore in the range of 3.0-8.0 nm.The formaldehyde adsorption effect of the activated alumina-activated carbon composite material was excellent,much better than that of the pure activated carbon or activated alumina,and its saturated adsorption capacity was 284.19 mg/g.

抗菌型载银壳层结构球粒活性炭被引量:2

以粉末椰壳活性炭为原料、硅酸盐水泥为胶凝剂,利用水泥的胶凝作用将载银抗菌剂包裹在活性炭核芯的表面,制备了一种兼具吸附性能与抗菌性能的壳层结构球粒活性炭.用抑菌圈法评价试样的抗菌性能,用碘吸附值评价试样的吸附能力,选择甲醛与苯的吸附模拟使用效果.结果表明,将载银抗菌剂集中裹覆在成型活性炭颗粒的壳层上,试样的抗菌能力显著增强;壳层中抗菌剂的添加量对抗菌能力影响较大;为保持活性炭的吸附能力,壳层足够包覆住整个核芯即可.

银/活性炭核壳复合球粒的壳层改性探讨

以水泥熟料为胶凝剂,制备了一种兼具吸附和抗菌性能的银/活性炭核壳复合球粒。为了进一步改善球粒的吸附性能,将不同造孔剂(PVA或硅藻土)混入载银壳层中,对壳层改性。探讨了造孔剂种类及添加量对改性试样吸附性能的影响,并对试样的抗菌性能进行了探讨。用碘、苯和甲醛吸附评价试样的吸附性能,用抑菌圈法测定试样的抗菌性能,用扫描电镜观测试样的微观结构。结果表明,PVA作造孔剂试样吸附效果最好,最佳的PVA添加比例占壳层10wt%;在最佳的PVA添加比例下,试样的大肠杆菌和八叠球菌的抑菌带宽分别为5.06 mm和5.48mm,抗菌性能良好;SEM微观结构显示,PVA溶解后形成致密的多孔结构。

Researches on the Removal of Pb(Ⅱ) by Hydrothermally Modified Oyster Shells被引量:3

A novel wastewater purification material was prepared by a hydrothermal method. It was mainly made from oyster shells with the merits of long service time, large surface area, high lead removal efficiency and excellent recyclable properties. The technological conditions were decided respectively based on the lead removal efficiencies. At pH = 5 and 30 ℃, for the wastewater with the initial concentration of Pb2+ to be 5 mg/L, adsorption time 24 h, and 1 mg to 40 mL of mass ratio between adsorbent and Pb2+, the maximum adsorption capacity can reach 0.19 mg/g. The lead removal material prepared by hydrothermal method has excellent recycle performance. The equilibrium adsorption capacity can get to 9.71 mg/g and the average Pb2+ removal rate is as high as 66.39%. After reusing for 60 times, the SEM observation shows that the hydrates of reticular formation is formed after hydrothermal modification, which provides a good attachment position for Pb2+, indicating the physical adsorption is dominant.

可再生无机胶凝成型活性炭材料的苯吸附特性被引量:7

以快硬硫铝酸盐水泥和粉末活性炭为主要原料制备无机胶凝成型活性炭材料,通过对试样含炭量、碘吸附值和抗压强度测试确定最佳制备工艺条件。对比分析了在不同环境温度对材料苯吸附性能的影响。结果表明适宜的活性炭与水泥的质量比为3∶2,必须在水中养护3 d以上,此时试样碘吸附值477.52 mg/g,抗压强度6.61 MPa,碳含量47.48%,吸水率61.55%,气孔率56.89%,比表面积459.37 m2/g,平均孔径2.3884 nm,总孔容0.2743 m3/g。实验表明,试样对苯的吸附性能十分良好,试样对苯饱和吸附量为190.74 mg/g。循环再生试验结果初步表明,试样对苯的循环再生效果良好。
