The hydnaceous genus Stecchericium is newly recorded from southeast of China. It is characterized by imbricate basidiocarps, tubular and thick-walled gloeocystidia, and small, ellipsoid, finely asperulate, strongly amyloid basidiospores. An illustrated description of Stecchericium seriatum is given based on the materials collected from Yunnan Province.
