基于改进无模型自适应控制算法的发电机广域阻尼控制器设计被引量:19

针对固定参数的发电机广域阻尼控制器(wide area power system stabilizer,WAPSS)不能适应电网结构和运行方式变化的问题,提出一种基于无模型自适应控制算法(model free adaptive control,MFAC)的WAPSS设计方法以实现控制器的在线自适应调整。通过分析现有MFAC控制策略,改进MFAC控制算法以适用于电力系统的WAPSS,并保证了被控系统的稳定性;结合固定参数的WAPSS设计,给出改进的MFAC-WAPSS参数设置方法。在四机两区系统和8机36节点系统测试该MFAC-WAPSS的控制效果。仿真结果表明:该MFAC-WAPSS能适应系统变化,有效抑制故障后区域间低频振荡。

Comprehensive modeling and parameter identification of wind farms based on wide-area measurement systems被引量:25

With intermittence and stochastics of wind power largely introduced into power systems, power system stability analysis and control is in urgent need of reliable wind farm models. Considering the superiority of wide-area measurement systems, this paper develops a novel methodology for practical synchrophasor measurement-based modeling and parameter identification of wind farms. For the sake of preserving basic structural characteristics and control patterns simultaneously, a comprehensive wind farm model is constructed elaborately. To improve the efficiency of the identification procedure,dominant parameters are classified and selected by trajectory sensitivity analysis. Furthermore, an improved genetic algorithm is proposed to strengthen the capability of global optimization. The test results on the WECC benchmark system and the CEPRI 36-bus system demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed modeling and identification methodology.

Real-time AGC dispatch units considering wind power and ramping capacity of thermal units被引量:6

The high penetration of wind energy sources in power systems has substantially increased the demand for faster-ramping thermal units participating in the frequency regulation service.To fulfill the automatic generation control(AGC)and compensate the influence of wind power fluctuations simultaneously,ramping capacity should be considered in the dispatch model of thermals.Meanwhile,conventional methods in this area do not take the impact of transmission loss into the dispatch model,or rely on offline network model and parameters,failing to reflect the real relationships between the wind farms and thermal generators.This paper proposes an online approach for AGC dispatch units considering the above issues.Firstly,the power loss sensitivity is online identified using recursive least square method based on the real-time data of phasor measurement units.It sets up power balance constraint and results in a more accurate dispatch model.Then,an improved multi-objective optimization model of dispatch is proposed and a connection is established between the thermal units with fast ramping capacity and the wind farms with rapid fluctuations.Genetic algorithm is used to solve the dispatch model.The proposed method is compared with conventional methods in simulation case in the IEEE 30-bus system.Finally,simulation results verify the validity and the feasibility of identification method and optimization model.
