A new copoly(ether ketone ketone)(NPEKK)has been synthesized from 4,5 bis(4 fluorobenzoyl) 1 methylcyclohexene, 4 (4 hydroxyphenyl) 2,3 phthalazin 1 one and 2,2 p hydroxyphenyl iso propane via nucleo\|philic polycondensation reaction.The ring closing reaction of NPEKK with hydrazine gives the cyclizing product CNPEKK.The new polymers have been studied with FT IR,DSC and TGA.It has been proved that the synthesized poly(ether ketone ketone)s is very soluble in many organic solvents,thermal stable and have good tensile properties.While,CNPEKK is more stable,but less soluble.
