The article is composed of two parts:the implication of curriculum design,and its application in English classroom.For the first part,it starts from the definition of curriculum and elements of curriculum,followed by the introduction of curriculum design and its two models(prescriptive models and descriptive models).For the second part,it describes the communicative approach,which is one of the application of communicative curriculum design in English classroom.
